Welcome to Science of Self Love. These Terms of Use govern your access to our website, purchase of products, enrollment in courses, participation in coaching programs, and use of services provided by Sarah M. Murphy, trading as Science of Self Love FZE, a business registered in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our", "Science of Self Love").
By accessing our site, purchasing, enrolling, or using any content, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions
You represent and warrant residence outside the United States of America and Canada.
Our courses, programs, and services exclude availability to residents of the United States of America or Canada due to limitations in our professional indemnity insurance coverage.
Purchase, enrollment, or access attempts from these jurisdictions breach these terms.
We reserve rights to cancel orders, issue refunds (less fees), block access, restrict accounts, or refuse service without further liability if we detect or suspect residence in or access from excluded areas.
You bear full responsibility for compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Immediate Access and Waiver of EU Withdrawal Right
By completing your purchase, you request and consent to immediate access to digital content and services.
You expressly agree performance begins immediately upon confirmation.
For European Union residents where applicable, you acknowledge and agree to waive your statutory 14 day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
This waiver does not affect other statutory rights.
3. Use of Website, Services, and Participant Conduct
Our courses, lessons, coaching services, and content serve personal use by one individual per purchase.
Sharing login credentials, materials, PDFs, or proprietary content proves strictly prohibited.
You agree not to copy, distribute, modify, or share content without written permission.
In live coaching programs, you agree to engage respectfully and supportively.
We reserve rights to remove participants without refund for inappropriate, disruptive, harmful, or misaligned behaviour including disrespectful communication, confidentiality breaches, harassment, or negative impact on others.
We may also remove individuals unsuitable for the program based on facilitator discretion to maintain group integrity and safety.
4. Access to Content
Self-Paced Courses and Lessons Purchases grant lifetime access defined as a minimum of three years from purchase date to original content.
Access depends on platform operation.
We reserve rights to retire, modify, or discontinue access after this period or earlier due to platform changes, business closure, or unforeseen circumstances.
Live Coaching Programs Access to recordings, worksheets, or resources lasts three months after the final session unless otherwise stated.
5. Payments and Refund Policy
Payments process via Stripe with secure PCI compliant handling.
All transactions occur in specified currencies (USD, Euro, or others) and international fees may apply from your institution.
Digital Products (Courses and Lessons) We offer a 7 day refund policy.
Full refund applies within 7 days if no content access occurs (streaming, downloading, interaction).
Accessed content allows refund within 7 days with proof of active engagement such as completed worksheets, journaling, screenshots of progress, quiz results, or reflections.
No refunds after 7 days or without evidence.
Live Coaching Programs 100 percent refund for cancellations 30 days or more before start.
50 percent refund for cancellations 15 to 29 days before start.
No refund within 14 days of start.
Non refundable deposits may apply as communicated.
Exceptional Circumstances Medical or family emergencies consider on a case by case basis with documentation.
Refund Requests Contact www.scienceofselflove.com within the window with name, order number, reason, and evidence.
Processing occurs within 7 to 14 business days.
6. Course/Program Changes and Cancellations
We reserve rights to modify, update, or discontinue offerings.
Material changes notify via registration email.
Cancellations after purchase offer full refund or equivalent alternative at our discretion.
7. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All content including course structure, lessons, worksheets, prompts, meditations, videos, scripts, downloads, and original expressions remains exclusive property of Science of Self Love FZE protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Public domain or referenced concepts receive proper attribution.
Purchases grant limited, non transferable, non exclusive license for personal use only.
No copying, reproduction, modification, distribution, derivative works, or exploitation without consent.
8. No Professional Advice and Disclaimers
Content provides general information, guidance, inspiration, and tools for personal development and wellbeing.
Results vary and we guarantee no specific outcomes.
We provide no medical, psychological, therapeutic, or regulated professional advice.
Programs are never a substitute for therapy or treatment.
Consult qualified professionals for health, mental wellbeing, or personal matters.
You accept full responsibility for use and outcomes including personal, professional, or financial impacts.
Content offers "as is" without warranties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Total liability limits to amount paid.
No liability applies for claims from excluded jurisdictions where insurance offers no coverage.
10. User Responsibilities
Maintain account confidentiality and notify us of unauthorized use.
Comply with all laws.
Third party platforms (e.g., Thinkific, Zoom) fall outside our responsibility for content, performance, or availability.
11. Privacy
Use agrees to our separate Privacy Policy detailing data handling.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms govern by laws of the United Arab Emirates without conflict principles.
Disputes address first through good faith negotiations.
Unresolved matters settle via binding arbitration in the United Arab Emirates under applicable rules.
